501(c)(19) Tax Deductible
Under federal tax law, donations to 501(c)(19) veterans’ organizations are generally tax-deductible if at least strong majority percent of the membership consists of U.S. military veterans. Combat Veterans of America proudly meets—and will always meet—that standard. Our membership is and will remain exclusively comprised of American veterans who have served honorably in the Armed Forces. Membership terms can be found here.
Corporate and institutional donors can therefore contribute with full confidence that CVA qualifies under the Internal Revenue Code’s requirements, allowing your organization to make a deductible, high-impact investment in America’s veteran community. To explore sponsorships, grants, or strategic partnerships, please contact the National Command Council below. Donors who choose to remain anonymous will remain so.
CVA's IRS 501(c)19 application was officially filed October 2025. With the government shutdown, IRS applications have been slowed other otherwise halted; however, donations made now can be retroactive to the filing date: October 2025.
Together, we can ensure that veterans’ voices continue to shape the nation they defended.
